Seniors Zhariya and Lumi pose with Ms. Liscov outside The Black Box during the Winter Dance.

As December 18 approached, excitement for the Winter Formal began building across the school. Conversations about outfits, music, and plans with friends filled the halls, turning ordinary school days into a countdown. For many underclassmen, this was one of the most anticipated school events, a way to kick off winter break and the holiday season.

Student Council spent weeks organizing the dance, choosing decorations, organizing music suggestions, and finalizing details. The goal was to create a fun and welcoming space where students could enjoy themselves, while still raising money for future events such as prom. Administrators and chaperones were scheduled to help ensure the event was organized and safe.

In the days leading up to the dance, students focused on last-minute preparations such as buying tickets, picking out outfits, and making group plans. While some looked forward to dressing up and taking photos, others were most excited about seeing friends outside of class and making memories.

Winter Formal brought together students from different grades, and schools for a night of music, laughter, and celebration. From loud dance floors to moments spent chatting with friends, the event offered something for everyone there. As the night came to an end, students left with photos, memories, and stories that made this year’s Winter Formal feel like a successful and memorable part of the school year.
