Every holiday season, many people go crazy trying to look for the perfect gifts for their loved ones. Looking in clothing stores, toys stores, and even grocery stores. A lot goes into getting ready for the holidays; it could even be stressful to some.
“People always went into stores, every year,”said the mom of one Fairchild student. “Once Covid hit online shopping was the only option most of the time. Now, online shopping has become a convenient habit.” It’s no doubt Covid wasn’t easy on anyone, especially during the holidays. When you’re used to doing something the same for so long and then suddenly can’t anymore, it may become stressful.
In-person shopping was a good way of being able to see through your own eyes what exactly you were buying without having to return most things or being disappointed when it shows up in the mail. However, a downside to in-person shopping would be that not everything you want will be in stores, sometimes it may be sold out and out of stock.
Online shopping has everything; the stores you walk into for clothes and toys like Walmart & Target all have apps that you can order from and either pick up or have it delivered to you. There’s even Stop and Shop or Shoprite for your groceries that also can be delivered or dropped off. Makes your life easier, so you are not rushing around.
However, both online and in-person shopping have great benefits, and is great for everything. It’s up to you and what you want to do. Online shopping is more popular with more things in stock. However in person shopping gives you the opportunity to see what you are buying.
