Terrifier never seems to win; the Terrifier series gets hate and love all at once. Some people have mixed feelings about this series. Some people appreciate the intense and terrifying storyline, while others feel that the series is or can be too intense. It can also be disturbing due to some of the scenes, and some even just think the plot is too predictable, or relies on common horror tropes. Overall, the Terrifier series has a dedicated fanbase that enjoys the movies, while others might find it a bit too much for their taste. “The violence is crossing the line this time,” said a parent of a FWC student. A lot of people feel this movie is not okay to watch due to its” violence” crossing the line.” This opinion has been going on ever since the first ever Terrifier. Is it too much? Is it truly too much for the director’s audience? Often, people’s reaction is rumored to be feeling sick, throwing up, or even leaving in the middle of the movie. The director, Damien Leone, gave Art the Clown a line that he will not cross. He states, “I am always looking for lines to get up to, to push the boundary. Maybe just step right over it.” This is for when it comes to gore, but he says the limit for him is when children get involved.
